Aunty Nancy didnt come today for Gkidz.
So I was left alone to handle all those kids.
I must say that Aunty Nancy is really good with those kids.
I knew it was going to be tough.
I was quite worried the kids would find me boring and they would be all over the place and probably entertain themselves with more interesting stuff like running round the whole room.
Anyway, I prayed that the Lord would help me and that the children will not go missing or else.
And amazingly when we had small group time, MOST of them listened and sat down.
But I tell you its not simple at all.
some of those kids are so energetic and stubborn, they just have to be on their feet.
And they can run around the whole room and later tell you that they behaved themself and they deserve a sticker.
the boy is quite funny or probably he was just trying to be funny with me.
but later, the boy managed to sit down on his butt.
YOU KNOW HOW?
the biscuit - WANT WANT rice crackers and the WANT WANT stickers.
when he saw the biscuit (WANT WANT) in my hands, he sat down in the circle quietly and joined the rest in doing their drawings.
I found it rather amazing.
I still cant believe that WANT WANT can do such wonders.
If my teacher gave me WANT WANT and asked me to sit down, I think I would still run around.
BECAUSE I have money to buy WANT WANT for myself. :)
But you see, those kids. Whoa.
they are really funny.
those kids actually allowed me to see that they are easily contented.
and when you are easily contented, you will be a happy person.
No wonder God loves little children so much.
Although all these were not easy at all, I learnt so much and no children went missing.
