EASTER DAY SPECIAL
(I did this on a random day with random thoughts in my head so you may be a little confused. :))
Sanctification week was good. No, I should say it was fabulous and powerful. I think I need to be a better christian. Right now, I am far from it. Give me Lord, a clean heart.

As a little girl many years ago, I always felt inferior and never better than others. I thank God for this really really great friend that he put in my life. She showed me how I could be happy and because of her, I made many friends in school too. No matter how hard it was for her to love someone, she would try to love that person and everybody in class loved her. No one that I know (maybe because they never told me or they don't exist) hated her.
She helped me to open up to others, learn to make new friends and she was even a really good friend to me. Even after we went to secondary school, she was still that really good friend.
Although I am no longer as close to her as before, she will forever be that special friend of mine because I know God placed her in my life for a reason. And I will always be waiting for the day when we could talk about anything under the sun again.
As young girls, the friendship was pure and simple. Now that we are young adults, maybe the term friendship has a whole new meaning to it and no longer as simple because the older we grow, the more we think.
Another random thought: Time is always slipping and we are always trying to make the best out of that every ticking second. Some of us will do something that we will regret for the rest of our life in that split second or maybe do something that will change our life forever. Everyone is busy and you will find yourself busier as you grow older. If you never tried putting aside time to do something that you think you should, you will never learn even when you set your heart to do it. Because you get so accustomed to it, you will struggle when you want to.

Anyway, back to the point, I want to say that there is someone who thinks I am special because of who I am. No matter what I do to hurt him, he will still love me and he is always ready to receive me with his open arms. Because of him, I can be this girl that I am now. And I know he has only the best for me. No matter what others would think about me, only one thing matters from now on - what he thinks of me. And I got to remember this forever. He gave his love unconditionally so why don't you come and experience this love - the love that only he can give. And he is Jesus.

FLYERS AND SUPPER
people who drive, please pay special attention! Come and be my friend.

Giving out flyers today at the CBD area was indeed an eye-opener. Being bored just standing there and giving out those flyers, I thought perhaps I should just look at the reaction that people give me when I pass the flyers to them. OH MY. I didn’t know that Singaporeans had such quaint expressions and some of them just do things that make me want to laugh.

Singaporeans whom take the flyers are really nice people and I want to thank God for them and they will be blessed and I just have to say THANK YOU to them because we get really ecstatic when the weight on our hands gets lighter. There are also those that said no and then came back to take another one. Or else, they will say no to you and take it from your friend. But we are still glad that they took it one way or another.

Unfortunately, there are also people that pretend that they can’t see you. It’s funny because those people don’t look at where they want to go and then they walk the wrong way or else they seem like they are looking at the ceiling that is going to drop. If not they will keep looking at your flyer and then not take it.

There are also others that took a glance at the flyers and they treat it like plague and I bet they don’t even know what the flyer is about. They look at the flyer in disgust and shake their head. Actually if they do not want to take the flyer, they can just say no thank you or just wave their hand (which means no thanks) instead of just walking past us even though we are just right in front of them and they act like as if they didn’t see us or give us weird expressions like we are giving out free drugs.

Okay but it’s seriously their choice and their preference but really it’s funny. Those people who likes to look up or look elsewhere tend to go the wrong direction or they just make themselves look silly. And all they had to do was either say no thanks or shake their head.

Okay. I shall not say such stuff. Maybe some of them didn’t do it intentionally and I believe most of the Singaporeans are nice people. At least we managed to give out most of the flyers.

Anyway, I think having supper late at night is fun but after that when you need to go home.. Well. That’s when you have to contemplate and think of ways to get back. Oh well. Its either my other half who can drive a car makes friend with me soon so that he can fetch me around or else I will just have to pass my driving test and quickly get a car. Then I can eat till however late I want and drive around without feeling weird or troubling others. I wonder why I don’t have friends who can drive. Hmm.

THE THING WITH TEENY LEGS AND MICROSCOPIC HAIR.
I was on facebook, contentedly sending eggs to my dear friends for the upcoming Easter day when I saw some black thing crawling on the floor.
When I turned my head in the direction of it, oh my gosh, it was a COCKROACH.
A black one with teeny legs and microscopic hair which it can scurry so fast with and I just don’t like them even if they are going to have a multi-colored body instead of the dull black one.
So when I saw it, I screamed COCKROACH COCKROACH.
And then my sister screamed, dropped a cup and ran to her bed.
Lol. I have no idea why she is so terrified when she used her feet to kill a cockroach before.
Anyway, I just sat on my chair reluctant to budge so I got my sister to get out of bed and get some help to kill the cockroach.
Help came! And I am so glad.
The cockroach was given some toxic air to breathe in.
And then it was struggling on the floor the next moment with its back against the floor.
What a tragedy. (For the cockroach)
What a relief. (For me and my sister)

THE MAKER OF THE UNIVERSE
Thank you God for the beautiful sun.
Its beautiful rays and its orange flames.
Thank you for the beautiful stars that twinkle in the sky.
They go well together with the moon, each of them elite in their particular ways.
Thank you for the green grass and the flowers in the garden.
They bring a smile or a sneeze. They can make you giggle or cry.
Thank you for my friends and family.
Even though sometimes they might not be the finest person in the world, you make them the people that gives us the encouragement and espousal we need.
Thank you for the circumstances placed in my life for I know you did this for me to learn and grow.
You had us in mind when you created everything.
You sited everything right in their places.
Even though you have given us everything, you still had to send your son down for us.
All because we have turned from your ways.
But still, you forgave our transgressions if only we believe.
You were more than ready to shower your love on us again.
Although it hurts to see your son take the guilt for us, you still sent him just so that we could draw closer to you.
What other love can be greater than this?
Thank you, Thank you God for everything, from deep down in my heart!

EMPTINESS

What do you do when you feel empty?
Some turn to parties to hide the feeling of lonesomeness.
They go to parties to be acquainted with more people so that they can say to themselves that they are not forlorn.
Some turn to alcohol.
They try to anaesthetize their feelings.
Some turn to love.
They hope to find someone that will be able to give them the love that they long for.
They turn to any other thing except God.
But after doing all this, at the end of the day, they still do feel the emptiness.
Because you can never be with your friends for 24 hours.
So when you go back to that empty shell, the feeling of loneliness will hit you again.
And alcohol wont help because the effect of the alcohol will wear off soon, and you may start feeling a thousand and one feelings again.
And the love you get can never satisfy the desire that you long for inside you.
The trouble comes when we rely so much on such things.
We will never come to recognize that all these are things that will fade away.
But the love of the Lord is forever.
And he is the only one that can fill the emptiness in you.
Learn to enjoy his unconditional love. The emptiness in your heart, will be filled with his love. He is just so amazing.
Reading something is never as good as experiencing it yourself. So why don’t you ask the Lord to fill the emptiness in your heart right now? All you have to do is ask, believe and prepare to receive.
